YDMI for Europe

This year the YDMI will be treading the European stage for the first time, with Germany, Belgium and Italy as partner countries. YDMI for Europe will take place during Abitare il Tempo, a trade fair to be held in Verona from 17 to 21 September 2009. As has already been the case at national level, here too representatives of industry will gain an exclusive insight into a selection of international young design practices and new entrants to the design profession. A total of 30 young professionals participate at YDMI for Europe. For Germany, the nominee-selection was made by the German Design Council, for Belgium, Design Vlaanderen and for Italy the ADI, IED, INNOVeTION VALLEY and INDUSTRIEL institutions.
