There is a growing demand for well-trained professionals in the field of sustainability. We are in the midst of a paradigm shift towards a sustainable economy. Design plays a significant role, as does legal frameworks, standards and reporting. The university-certified course "Sustainability Management" clarifies the current legal situation and enables managers to become active as corporate sustainability experts.
The course is a cooperation between the University of Applied Sciences in Saarbrücken, the German Design Council, and the consulting firm CSI, and is aimed at sustainability managers in companies with global value chains. Members of the German Design Council receive special conditions.
With a scope of 80 hours in seven weeks, the modules took place in October 2022 and were finally certified by the Saarland University of Applied Sciences.
