Since 2016, the German Design Council has been honouring outstanding design and excellent brand management in the two-wheeler industry with the Bicycle Brand Contest. The competition discovers and honours the latest trends – from e-bikes to wearables, from functional clothing to the intelligent campaign.

Bicycle Brand Contest

On 10 September 2019 the German Design Council will honour the winners of the Automotive Brand Contest and the Bicycle Brand Contest 2019 during the IAA in Frankfurt am Main. The honorary prize “Brand Manager of the Year” will be awarded to Maria-Elisabeth Schaeffler-Thumann and Georg F. W. Schaeffler, shareholders of the Schaeffler Group. Starting today, the Automotive Brand Contest 2019 and the Bicycle Brand Contest 2019 are accepting registrations! We are looking for the best product designs, the most innovative technological developments and the most effective communication designs of the international automobile, motorcycle and bicycle industries. The deadline for registration is 10 May 2019.
