The current economic environment is challenging. Positive brand positioning among competitors is what makes the difference for economic success, especially in times such as these. Businesses that place their reliance on strategic brand management invest in their brand consistently and continuously, including through intensive networking. The number of members in the German Design Council foundation grew by more than 5% in the first six months of the year to a total of over 340 companies.
New members enriching the network
The new members include renowned, internationally active corporate brands in various industries, especially furnishings, household goods and construction, and comprise companies such as Covestro Germany, Fischerwerke, Graef, KFF, KLUDI and Zwiesel Kristallglas. By joining, these businesses are investing in their brand and visibility, and also have their brand presented in the German Design Council’s annual publication series, “The Major German Brands”. The publication will be released in September 2020 as part of the German Design Council gala in Berlin. The member companies portrayed in the volume use this business networking event to further strengthen their commercial position.
