Learn & Burn – Day for Female Networking 2026

News0
With Learn & Burn, the Women of DDC are sending a strong message in support of visibility, networking and empowerment for women* in the creative industries as part of World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026. Although women* make up more than half of the workforce, they remain under-represented in key positions.

On 22 May, around 250 national and international participants will gather at the Evangelische Akademie Frankfurt. Through talks, panel discussions, workshops and dialogue sessions, women’s networks from the fields of design, architecture, photography, mobility and other sectors will exchange ideas. The programme also includes Frankfurt Business Women’s Day, which facilitates networking with female entrepreneurs and networks from other industries.

In the evening, the Learn & Burn – Networking Night will take place at Massif Central, featuring a recap, a panel discussion, a surprise guest, as well as music, snacks and drinks.

The aim of the event is to strengthen women’s* networks, create international visibility and sustainably increase the participation of women* in decision-making within the creative industries.

Supported by the City of Frankfurt am Main, Frankfurt Economic Development Agency, World Design Capital RheinMain 2026, the State Capital of Düsseldorf and the Competence Centre for Cultural and Creative Industries (KomKuK) of the State Capital of Düsseldorf. Media partners: Verlag form, Grafikmagazin, Design Perspectives by the German Design Council, Designforum Rheinland-Pfalz, Hessen Design e.V., Frankfurter Kranz e.V., VivArt, DDCAST.
