On 11 March 2025, the German Design Council will bring together leading minds and industry giants such as Google, Adidas, and BMW at the Circular Design Summit in the Hospitalhof Stuttgart. Under the guiding theme “Rethinking the Economy”, the elite of the design, industry, and innovation sectors will convene to unleash the transformative power of circular design for a sustainable economy.

Event Highlights:

  • Google: Katie Morgenroth, Head of Sustainable Design, will offer groundbreaking insights into sustainable design strategies.
  • BMW Group: Daniela Bohlinger, a visionary in sustainability, will emphasise the need for a revolutionary approach to design, moving beyond incremental improvements.
  • Hansgrohe: Steffen Erath, a pioneer in planet-centric innovation, will shed light on the green transformation within one of the leading companies in the sanitary sector.

Additionally, experts such as Karel J. Golta (Indeed Innovation), Dr Claas Oehlmann (BDI Circular Economy Initiative), Luisa Balaban (TÜV Rheinland), and Kim Le Roux & Margit Sichrovsky (LXSY Architects) will share their perspectives and strategies for accelerating the circular economy.

Master Classes will explore specific topics, including Circular Design, Closing the Loop, Circular Business, Politics & EU Regulation, and Digital Technology, fostering in-depth discussions and knowledge exchange.
