World Design Capital 2026

Beyond Bureaucracy – How Design Builds Better Systems

Large organisations – whether corporations or public institutions – face the same challenge: building services that don't just work, but last. Service design is more than optimising individual touchpoints. It's about solutions across the entire customer journey and about organisational change. And, ultimately, about a bigger question: how can business and government be designed around the people who use them?

Design as a Bridge Between Complexity and Impact

The second Moving Business by Design talk, on 8 June 2026, examines how service design creates real impact inside large organisations – from the customer journey to the transformation of entire structures. The focus is on the design, technology and policy decisions that make truly usable services possible – and on how design can provide orientation even within the most complex systems.
