Our members of the foundation German Design Council can take part in exclusive events. These include the Design + Innovation expert group, at which the host company offers valuable insights into its work. Brand managers get together for a frank discussion of real-world case studies on the Brand Management expert group.
There are the following working groups:
GDC - Walk the Talk
The new online talk deals with topics around brand, digitalisation, design and innovation. After a keynote speech, our guests will answer the questions of the participants connected via video chat.
The event is open to decision-makers from the management and CEO level.

Brand Management expert group
The Brand Management expert group is open to those responsible for design, corporate design and brands at manufacturing companies that are members of the German Design Council. This is where those responsible for brands discuss practical examples at eye level or introduce best-practice examples. Participants become acquainted with the company hosting the event, while receiving valuable insight into the respective design and brand strategy.
The meetings are hosted by different foundation members each time and occur once or twice a year.

Design + Innovation expert group
The Design + Innovation expert group is an informal communication forum for all member companies of the German Design Council. The focus is on cross-industry networking and exchange. Participants gain interesting insights into the host company and discuss current challenges in the field of design and innovation. Company tours and impulse lectures round off the proven event format.
The half-day meetings take place twice a year with various foundation members.

Branding + Design Right expert group
This expert group discusses current changes in case law and their effects on day-to-day work. In addition, the event format offers the opportunity to bring in one's own questions and discuss them not only with a specialist expert but also with colleagues from the circle of founders.

In this expert group, current changes in case law and their effects on everyday work are discussed. In addition, the event format offers the opportunity to bring in your own questions and discuss them not only with a specialist expert, but also with colleagues from the German Design Council Foundation network.

Design + Art expert group
Many brand-conscious companies regard their commitment to art and culture as an important part of their corporate culture. The reasons for motivation and implementation examples are as impressive as they are exciting - they should be deepened in the working group. The target group of the Design + Art Working Group are art-loving managing directors, owners, design and brand managers.

Design Forum DX — DAX
DX — DAX is a design forum of the German Design Council, it was founded in September 2017 and is concerned with all aspects of the digital transformation.
